Our canvases are made from a blend of man made fibres, sourced in Australia. It is guaranteed not to deteriorate over time, unlike cotton canvas. It is incredibly strong and won’t sag in humid conditions.
Canvases have UV block out qualities to protect it from the sun’s UV rays. The highest quality archival UV inks are used which means prints can last up to 120 years before fading.
Frames are made from Australian kiln dried timber. They are carefully constructed with a bevelled edge which prevents ghosting (ghosting is when you can see the frame faintly through the canvas). Strong corner supports are used along with industrial strength glue and staples. Frames will have a thickness of 4cm.
The canvases are printed on the latest state-of-the-art wide format commercial printers which produce strong, sharp image quality and accurate colour reproduction. Since the printing process is heat supported, it fixates the colours deeply into the canvas fibres producing a matte, clear image which is rich in colour.
Canvases are finished with a gallery wrap and are ready to hang. Excess canvas at the back of the frame is trimmed and the staples are covered with tape. The cord is then attached with screws. The advantages of the gallery finish are that the tape protects your walls from any possible effects of the staples against the wall, plus the height of the canvas can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the cord with the screws.
Are you looking for something a little different? Chromaluxe prints are printed directly to aluminium and create a stunning look on any wall.
Chromaluxe prints are ready to hang and come with a 20mm stand out so the print looks as if it is floating off the wall.
All prints are gloss white and have amazing depth and clarity.
Sizes available include 5 x 7”, 11.75 x 11.75”, 12 x 24” and 20 x 30”.
All images in our galleries are originally shot in raw format and converted using a fully colour managed workflow, meaning prints will retain the highest possible amount of detail and accurate colour representation. Images are printed by a Professional Photo Lab using state of the art Epson printers and inks.
As we use an Eizo colour calibrated monitor for image post processing, the colour of your prints may differ slightly from what you see on your screen at home. However we can assure you that the prints will be an exceptional quality with outstanding colours.
Images on this website have been re-sized at lower resolution to suit web display and for image security protection. Due to this images may lose a certain amount of sharpness when viewed on your monitor, you can however be assured that this will not transfer to your prints as original files are used to produce prints.
Lustre and Gloss prints are printed on Kodak Professional Endura Premier Digital Paper. This paper utilises the latest technology and produces bright vibrant colours, clean whites and rich blacks. It also has an archival life of 100 years, meaning colours won’t fade in the typical home environment.
Metallic prints are printed on Kodak High Definition Paper. This paper has a distinctive high gloss surface with a luminous/iridescent sheen which boosts colour intensity. It also has a thicker base giving a more robust and premium feel, this paper is my personal favourite.
All prints will have a white border added ranging from 0.5 inches to 1 inch depending on the size of the print. This allows for easy handling when framing.
Prints are personally inspected by Scott before being despatched to ensure our high standards are upheld.
